About

Dr Williams is an Australian-trained orthopaedic surgeon, who undertook 5 years of extensive surgical training in regional and metropolitan NSW. This included training under local experts across many of Sydney’s most well regarded hospitals including Royal North Shore, St Vincents, Royal Prince Alfred and The Children's Hospital at Westmead as well as regional centres such as Canberra, Tweed Heads and Dubbo.

After qualification as an orthopaedic surgeon with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr Williams moved to Perth, Western Australia, to seek out further sub-specialist training with high-volume hip preservation and arthroplasty surgeons.  This resulted in over 12 months of hands-on training in minimally-invasive anterior approach hip replacement, complex revision hip replacement, periacetabular osteotomy and hip arthroscopy.

Having trained in the management of both adult and paediatric hip conditions, Dr Williams enjoys accepting referrals for patients of all ages.

Personal

Outside of hip surgery, Dr Williams is lucky to live on Sydney’s beautiful northern beaches with his family. He is a lifelong beginner surfer and still watches the Wallabies, awaiting their resurgence.
