Why choose Dr Williams?

Dr Sean Williams is a Sydney orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in the management of all hip conditions across the lifespan.

He has a highly focussed elective practice and has undertaken extensive further training in hip surgery to be able to offer his patients a comprehensive array of modern surgical techniques.

Dr Williams places great importance on taking the time to understand each patient's specific diagnosis and functional goals in order to create a personalised treatment plan, tailored to each patient's expectations.

He prides himself on excellent and friendly communication with his patients, their families and their healthcare team, including GPs and allied health, to ensure that the diagnosis and treatment plan is clear to all involved.

Dr Williams also understands that in many cases, surgery isn’t the first or the best answer and strongly values active non-operative treatment.  This is reflected in Dr Williams' choice of consulting locations, working under the same roof as the allied health teams from MTP Health and Hill Street Sports Medicine.  Dr Williams believes that the surgeon is a small cog in the greater treating team and will work closely with patients’ preferred rehabilitation providers to ensure an optimal recovery, with or without surgery.
